Empowering Tomorrow’s Legal Minds:
Lou Hockman Joins Villanova Law School Faculty

I am thrilled to announce a recent milestone in my professional journey. I have been appointed to the esteemed faculty at Villanova Law School, where I’ll serve as an Adjunct Professor for the upcoming Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. This opportunity fills me with immense excitement as I embark on this new role, enabling me to contribute to the education of future legal professionals and engage with students on topics that are deeply meaningful to me.

In the Fall semester, I’ll have the privilege of teaching Civil Pretrial Practice, a pivotal course that lays the groundwork for aspiring trial lawyers. I am honored to have several distinguished members of the Bar joining as guest faculty, enriching the learning experience for our students. My aim is to equip the next generation with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the courtroom.

Transitioning to the Spring semester, I eagerly anticipate teaching a course on Dispute Resolution, an area that aligns closely with my expertise and professional focus. This course offers a valuable opportunity to explore alternative methods of resolving conflicts, emphasizing negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.

These teaching engagements mark an exciting new chapter in my career, and I am wholeheartedly committed to sharing my knowledge, insights, and experiences with tomorrow’s legal professionals. I look forward to fostering a dynamic and enriching learning environment at Villanova Law School, nurturing the growth and development of aspiring lawyers as they embark on their own journeys in the legal field.
