On June 6, 2024, I am thrilled to be serving as both Course Planner and Presenter for a virtual Continuing Legal Education event offered by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the esteemed educational branch of the PA Bar Association. Our 6 hour (including 1 hour of ethics) offering entitled “Legal Frontiers: The Latest in Civil Litigation” features prominent attorneys from across the Commonwealth. Topics include:
- John/Jane Doe Pleadings;
- Discovery Update;
- Rideshare Litigation;
- Federal and State Court mandated ADR processes with a focus on mediation;
- Cyber Security and Privacy; and
- Ethical Considerations for Civil Litigators
Along with Eckert Seaman’s attorneys, Lauren Cottingtom and Derek J. Illar, my presentation will focus on court mandated/supported ADR processes and how they vary across Pennsylvania.
On June 12, 2024, the Montgomery Bar Association ADR Committee will present a 1 hour CLE (.5 Ethics) featuring Attorney Stephen Yusem on the “Revised Uniform Arbitration Act”. Now 5 years old, the Act significantly changed Pennsylvania arbitration law. This event underscores the commitment of the MBA ADR Committee to provide relevant and insightful educational opportunities for our members.
I am excited to contribute to advancing legal education and fostering excellence within the legal community through both of these upcoming events.
